Nice grounds clean toilets but are pits. Not really walking distance to the beach. Good place for a large group to gather.

Excellent camp ground nearest town Laurieton 25 minutes. Dirt road access. Take slowly if in ordinary car. Cold showers and drop toilet. About 5-7 mins walk to non patrolled beach. Nice coastal walk to Diamond Head.

Nice campgrounds. Generally very quiet while nearby Kylie's is packed with people. Friendly wildlife. Great basic facilities. If not busy, then there's plenty of space for games out on the grass. We find accessing this campground is best done via Laurieton to the north. The southern road from Moorland can be very rough.

Great quiet spot away from the hoards.less facilities than Diamond Head but that's a small price to pay for the scenerity.

This is a nice grassy camp ground where the local kangaroos come to feed late afternoon and early morning. Take a walk to Indian Head and sit for a while and you might just spot a whale or 10 passing by at the right time of year.
